Dear readers!
My name is Mr J, I live in Israel. I was born in the Soviet Union and I moved to Israel from Russia in 2017.

Here in Israel there were no cigarettes that I smoked in Russia, so I started looking for tobacco and cigarette tubes that would suit me.
I found tobacco quickly, but there was a big problem with cigarette tubes. Neither ordinary filter cigarette tubes nor raw cones suited me because of their insufficient quality and the inconvenience of their use.
And then I remembered the good old papirosas, and soon, when I went to Moscow on personal business, I brought back a dozen boxes of papirosa cigarette tubes "Belomorcanal" (100 tubes per box). You will learn about the undeniable advantages of Papirosa Tubes on the pages of the magazine.
I took great pleasure both when I stuffed these papirosa tubes and when I smoked them. After a while, the thought came to me that there are many people in the world who, like me, are dissatisfied with ordinary filter cigarette tubes and raw cones, and I decided that it would be great to introduce papirosa tubes to the whole world.
In 2018, I created and registered the trademark "TONE smoking tubes", designed the packaging (and got into graphic design), ordered the first batch of papirosa tubes, and at the beginning of 2019, the first sales began. Two years later I had the idea to publish an online magazine about the history of the unique production of papirosa tubes and papirosas in Russia, their history and culture of consumption and use, as well as the history and culture
of using joints, blunts, and spliffs. The first issue of the magazine was published in December 2020.
My primary goal, as a publisher and chief editor, is to make humanity remember the Russian papirosas and papirosa tubes that were popular worldwide about a hundred years ago and, perhaps, to inspire someone to set up the production of modern papirosa tube machines.
When starting the magazine's publication, I decided that all the issues would be entirely different in style and design. Such a task requires a challenging creative process, a lot of perseverance and inventiveness, and I don't want people to view my work on the small screens of mobile phones; therefore, the magazine fundamentally does not have a mobile version.
I hope my work will be of interest to readers and connoisseurs of good graphics. I look forward to your feedback and suggestions.
